These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which SkinTech Aesthetics Training Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides training courses, resources, and use of our website or associated services. By registering for a course or using our website, you confirm acceptance of these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Enrolment
Our courses are intended for professionals seeking skills in aesthetics and skincare.
Learners must provide accurate, complete information and may be required to show proof of qualifications when requested.
We reserve the right to decline or revoke enrolment if eligibility criteria or professional standards are not met.
2. Booking, Payment, and Refunds
Payment, as set out during booking, is required to secure placement on a course.
Course fees, payment deadlines, and accepted methods will be confirmed at booking.
Cancellations notified less than 14 days before the course may forfeit some or all fees, except where required by law.
If the academy cancels or materially changes a course, a full refund or suitable alternative will be offered.
3. Course Content, Certification, and Attendance
Course materials (handbooks, slides, etc.) are owned by SkinTech and provided for personal learning only. Copying or sharing beyond permitted use is forbidden.
Attendance is required for certification. Failure to meet assessment standards or attendance requirements may result in non-award of certification, at our discretion.
We may substitute trainers, amend course content, or alter schedules where necessary, giving reasonable notice.
4. Conduct and Health & Safety
Learners must behave professionally and follow trainer and venue instructions at all times.
No audio, video, or photography is permitted during class without explicit permission.
Health and safety rules must be observed in all venues and during all procedures.
5. Models
Where live models are used, all treatments are subject to medical screening and consent.
Models brought by learners must meet academy requirements, complete all necessary documentation, and be covered by the learner’s insurance where appropriate.
6. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide accurate and effective training, SkinTech is not liable for:
Loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in training or use of materials.
Loss of earnings, reputation, or incurred expenses due to course attendance or outcomes.
Nothing excludes liability for death or injury caused by negligence.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials and course content remain the intellectual property of SkinTech Aesthetics Training Academy and must not be reproduced or distributed, except as expressly authorised.
8. Data Protection
Personal data is collected and handled in line with our Privacy Policy and all relevant data protection laws.
9. Website and Online Services
Access to online content is subject to these terms and must not be shared outside the registered user group.
The site may contain links to external resources for whose content we are not responsible.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to review and update these Terms periodically. Continued use or booking will indicate acceptance of revised Terms.
